Weird Edge
That is how i think it is. the same logic would explain locations of power. they feature normaly one of the six aspects and their “glowing orbs” could be the point of equilibrium where all lines cross. what would explain how we can extract skill points from it.

Am i the only one worried about that “coincidence”?

Far more curious than worried.

From all i see that could be the base pattern of the planes of existence.

  • the “pale tree” :the world and the ley lines in the middle
  • the First circle: the spirit layer where ritualists draw their minions from.
  • the Second circle: the edge of the mists
  • the small circles: the domains of the elemental energies Fire, plants/poison, krystal/order, ice/vold, water, life/death that are similiar to the six gods (maybe even their realms) and/or could be connected with the elder dragons

I could definitely subscribe to this Idea. It really makes a lot of sense. Though I wonder some of the implications. Abaddon was the god of secrets, magic, and water, so it would make sense that the diagram was associated with his realm. What stands out in my mind is that the locations on the ‘map’ of the realm of torment did not correspond with the actual topography of the place. Some zones immediately connected were on opposite ends of the ‘map’. Also the design of the RoT map suggested to me that someone hand drew the map, like what you might find in a spell book. This leads me to wonder if some ancient entity knew the ‘secret’. A Margonite, Jotun, Seer, or Mursaat perhaps? Maybe even Lord Odran?

What if the Pattern is fractal. What when the build of the smaller circle/Divine Realm looks similar to the build of the large structure and the energie flows similar to the ley lines? In this case the Maps of the Realm of Torment would be located at locations of equilibrium. Lagrange points within the “bubble of chaotic dimensonal energy”
and the travel goes via the flux of energy channels.
